Madeline the 1st grader!

We now have an official 1st grader living in the house! She's loving it all except for having to do work! Poor girl doesn't realize yet what lies ahead of her.

July 4th Weekend

Our community puts on a great July 4th parade. We got there early on Sat AM with breakfast and drinks in hand.

Someone even passed out popsicles...perfect for a warm day!


Check out our balloon dogs...they made it home without even popping! The marching bands were a favorite of all!

On Sunday after church we all headed up to the lake. Madeline loves swinging off the rope swing and riding the wave runners.

Norbert enjoyed sailing, while Madeline took off with Aunt Linda on the wave runner. As you can see and most definitely hear, Michael doesn't want to be left out of anything!

He did finally get a turn on the wave runner and loved it!
